China Marriage and K3 Visa Guide - User Updates
With the nature of changing immigration laws, forms and applications,
User Updates will help you stay on top of vital information. Make these
notes on pages of your China Marriage and K3 Visa Guide. We will notify
you by email of any changes to User Updates.
Evidence of Immediate Travel
Since the Beijing Olympics, China no longer requires evidence of travel for a Chinese Visa. (Ref. page 14,20)
Biographic Information G-325A: New Edition 6/12/09
USCIS
updated the download for G-325A. It still states number of pages as 4.
They need to update this information on their site because they changed
it to 2 pages. When you download your G-325A you will now get 2 pages
not 4. (Ref. page 21)
Authentications
The
process of authentication starts with your state's Secretary of State
and then with the Chinese Consulate/Embassy here in the U.S. which has
jurisdiction over your residence. In addition, if you were born,
divorced, or widowed in a different state other than your current
residence, those notarized documents will need to be sent to that
state's Secretary of State and to the Chinese Consulate/Embassy holding
jurisdiction. (Ref. page 16,19)
